📱 Buying Your First Phone Number

You need a phone number to call and text sellers from REI Pulse. Here's how to get one.

How to Buy a Number

Step 1: Click Settings in the left sidebar

Step 2: Click Phone Numbers

Step 3: Click the + Add Number button (top right)

Step 4: Type in your desired area code (example: 602 for Phoenix)

Step 5: Pick a number from the list

Step 6: Click Buy Number

Done! Your number is now active.

What You Need to Know

✅ Calls work immediately - You can start making calls right away

⚠️ Texts are limited - You can only send about 3-5 texts per day until your A2P registration is approved (this may take 7-14 days, so submit it ASAP)

Pro Tips

• Use a local area code - Sellers answer local numbers more often

• Working multiple markets? - Get a separate number for each area code

• Test it - Call yourself from another phone to make sure it works
  

Troubleshooting

Can't find your area code? → Try a nearby area code or check back tomorrow (inventory changes)

Number not showing up? → Refresh the page or log out and back in

Calls not connecting? → Make sure your browser has microphone access enabled
