Working the deals inside opportunities
OPPORTUNITIES SETUP & MANAGEMENT
WHAT IS AN OPPORTUNITY (IMPORTANT CONTEXT)
An opportunity is a potential deal or lead you are tracking inside your pipeline.
It includes:
Contact (lead)
Pipeline
Stage
Deal value
Notes & activity
👉 Think of it as the actual deal card your team works on.
WHY OPPORTUNITIES MATTER
Opportunities help you:
👀 Track every deal in one place
📊 Forecast revenue based on deal value
🤝 Assign ownership (who handles the lead)
⚙️ Automate follow-ups and workflows
👉 This is what turns your pipeline into a working system, not just a list.

Lead comes in
Becomes an opportunity
Moves through stages
Ends as:
